At Reach Academy, we are aware that all of our pupils benefit from support with their mental health needs. Our group structure offers pupils dedicated staff members who are available to support their mental health needs. We have a team of trained staff, led by our mental health lead, who will establish need and then offer support throughout pupil placement and beyond.
We currently have staff trained in mental health first aid, the number of staff working with this level of expertise will be increasing in the near future. Our staff work closely with parents and carers, health care professionals and schools to ensure that the mental health needs of our pupils are effectively dealt with to encourage academic and SEMH progression.
