Pupil Premium

Free School Meals

The Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement. These include pupils who are entitled to free school meals, or have been entitled within the last 6 years; those looked after by the local authority and children who are adopted.

Reach Academy also receives pupil premium plus funding from the Local Authority Virtual School for pupils who are Children Looked After. The pupil premium plus, allocated, is used to enhance the offer of personalised learning programmes, and nurture and enrichment activities; in order to improve outcomes for young people.

The total funding Pupil Premium funding allocated for the current academic year, 2023-24 is: £11,385
