Keeping Children Safe Is A Priority At Reach Academy

At Reach Academy, we genuinely care about the safety and wellbeing of every child in our community. We invite all our staff, volunteers, and visitors to join us in this important commitment. Safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and our team is well-trained to recognise and respond to any signs of pupils who are suffering or likely to suffer harm.

We believe in building trusting and professional relationships with our pupils, ensuring they feel supported and understood. By focusing on early intervention, we aim to address any concerns promptly, preventing issues from escalating. We are always here to offer support and advice to families and parents/carers, keeping the best interests of our pupils at heart.

As a school, we encourage families, parents/carers and pupils to share any concerns or worries that may affect their safety and wellbeing.

The school adheres to all statutory guidance and relevant policies, some of which are outlined below.
