Our curriculum is designed to ensure all pupils successfully access a broad and balanced offer that is personalised to support their complex SEMH and SEND needs. Pupils access core and non-core subjects in line with the National Curriculum alongside personal development opportunities and personalised interventions. Weekly cooking sessions, wellbeing sessions and projects focus on developing pupils’ life skills and their ability to become responsible citizens within the school and their wider communities.
Whilst some subjects are not taught through individual lessons, for example geography, history and Modern Foreign Languages, topic based sessions, personal development and enrichment opportunities all cover aspects of these curriculum areas. Please see below for further information regarding our overall curriculum intent. Individual subject intent statements can be found within each subject page.
If you require any additional information about our curriculum, please contact the main office who will put you in touch with the appropriate member of staff.
