Keeping Children Safe Is A Priority At Reach Academy

Everyone working for the Academy shares an objective to help keep children and young people safe by providing a safe environment for children and young people to learn and develop in our school setting.

Staff are skilled at identifying children and young people who are suffering or likely to suffer harm. We take appropriate action with the aim of making sure children are kept safe both at home and in our school setting. Each pupil’s welfare is of paramount importance to our school community. We recognise that children may exhibit behaviour that at times may impact on other children either directly or indirectly. We will always take a considered and sensitive approach in order that we can support all of our pupils.

As a school we encourage parents, carers and young people to share any concerns or worries that may affect their safety and wellbeing. Our parents, carers and students see our school as a safe place.
